The function of SIMBODIES is to replicate the look and appearance of the human body; produced using skin safe Prosthetic Grade Silicone, our SIMBODIES are able to feature medical capabilities using the replication of veins, airways, jaws, and teeth for added accuracy. They have the look and appearance of genuine human skin, colouring, hair, and eyes, all of which enable the student or trainee to experience a truly immersive experience.

In the App, you will find a selection of pre-recorded voices for your manikin to fit a variety of interventions/scenarios. Connect with the SIMBODIES manikin Bluetooth speaker (installed in your adult male/female, child, or infant manikin), select the simulation pathway and injury – and begin training! The ‘Incidental Sounds’ can be played to form reactions and responses from the patient during simulated training.
There is also ‘Background Sound’, which plays automatically on a loop until stopped; these include different breathing patterns, snoring, and vomiting. Our App also features a microphone tool that allows the operator to actively participate in the training and adapt the session storyboard in real time.
