The HEAT Lite™ (Hypothermia Emergency Assessment & Transport) system is a lightweight casualty protection and transport solution designed to help reduce heat loss while maintaining access to the patient for continued assessment and treatment.

Developed for prehospital, tactical, military, EMS, and austere medical environments, HEAT Lite™ addresses a critical challenge in casualty care: protecting the patient from environmental exposure without unnecessarily restricting access for ongoing medical treatment.

Rather than simply wrapping the casualty in an insulating layer, the HEAT Lite™ is designed around the realities of prolonged and prehospital casualty care, allowing providers to continue assessing and treating the patient while maintaining a protected patient environment.

More Than a Casualty Cover

Traditional blankets and casualty covers can require providers to expose the patient repeatedly for assessment and treatment.

HEAT Lite™ is designed differently.

Integrated access points allow providers to reach the chest, upper and lower extremities, and inguinal region while helping maintain coverage over the remainder of the casualty.

This approach allows the provider to balance two important objectives during trauma care:

Maintain access to the patient while helping minimize environmental heat loss.

ClearView™ Patient Assessment

The integrated ClearView™ chest panel allows medical providers to visually assess the casualty without completely opening the system.

This feature is particularly valuable during transport and extended casualty care when repeated opening of traditional insulation systems can unnecessarily expose the patient to the environment.

Heat-Loss Prevention

The HEAT Lite™ incorporates a heat-reflective lining designed to support heat retention and provide an additional protective barrier between the casualty and the surrounding environment.
