Our Blizzard Trauma Blanket is our largest survival blanket and has a full length self-adhesive closure.  Manufactured with Reflexcell™ technology for unapparelled performance and practicality compared to conventional foil-type ‘space’ blankets.  It provides total warmth and weather protection and can easily be opened and re-opened along its full length.  The Blizzard Survival Blanket itself provides Warmth: 7.5 Togs equal to a medium weight regular sleeping bag and is fully waterproof and windproof while taking up very little room in your personal emergency pack or vehicle.

The uses and applications for this kit include everything from military, medical, marine and mountain rescue, to civil evacuations and disasters. The Blizzard Survival Blanket is a full-sized survival bag in a pack the size of a paperback book, providing total warmth and shelter, anywhere, at any time.  The Survival Blanket consists of three (3) layers of Reflexcell™ technology.  These three (3) expandable layers are constructed of metalized material with an elastic core. The design allows baffles to form, trapping warm air between a patient and the surrounding elements. The Survival Blanket may be stored indefinitely, and is not affected by temperature or moisture, either during storage or in use.
